(APP) Notifications

Notifications from Bond will help you maintain total functionality of your Bond Breeze Pro and Sidekick proving notification messages when battery levels are low.  Notifications are composed of two parts.  The first part is enabling the notification feature and the second is making choices on what you want to be notified about.

Push notification setup

The first time you add a Bond device or accessory that has a battery for the power source, a banner may be displayed in the Bond Home application about setting up and allowing notifications if the notifications permissions are not allowed.

Battery status settings

1. Open the Bond Home application and an indicator will be displayed above settings  .
2. Tap on settings.
3. Select Device Battery Status.
   
   
   
   
4. Your Bond devices and accessories that support battery status will be displayed.
   1. The information is displayed by location name and sorted alphabetically with each device or accessory showing battery status sorted by remaining battery capacity from full at the top to empty at the bottom.
      
      
5. If you only want to display low status for devices or accessories, tap on Show only low status.
   
   
   
   

Setting what to be notified about

1. In the Bond Home application, tap on settings.
2. Select Account Notifications.
   
   
   
   
3. Battery status is turned on by default.  If you want to disable tap on the switch to disable notifications.  If disabled, tap to enable.

Notifications aren't being sent

Both the Android and iOS applications rely on operating system settings for the application to provide notifications.  Please check these to make sure notifications are enabled.

Android

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select apps.
3. Search for Bond.
4. Select Notifications.
5. Make sure notifications are allowed.
6. For Notification categories, make sure Battery Status and Bond Support are enabled.
   1. The number of notification categories will vary based on application version, phone, operating system version and region.
      
      
      
      

iOS

1. Go to settings.
2. Search settings for Bond.
3. Select Bond.
4. Tap on Notifications.
5. Make sure Allow Notifications is on.
