If you have a Bond Bridge with a serial number that starts with Z (ZZBL11111 as an example) you have the ability to backup and restore the devices on your Bond Bridge.
Please note that you can backup to a different Bond Bridge unit with the exception detailed in the table below.

*Serial number is located on a sticker attached to the bottom of the Bond or in the application located by selecting the Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro.
*The backup is stored on the phone device with the Bond Home application where the backup was made. Restoration must be done from the same phone device.

Backing up devices
- Make sure the Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro are on the same network as the device running the Bond Home application.
- Select the Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro in the Bond Home application.
- Choose advanced settings.
- Select Backup and Restore.
- If this is the first backup, the restore option will not be available.
- Select Create a new backup.
- The backup is created in year-month-day followed by hour:minute:second format as shown below.
- Each backup will be listed as in the example above with the newest at the top of the list.

Restoring from a backup
- If you have an integration you will need to:
- Alexa - delete old Bond devices and before the restore, do a discovery after the restore. Un-linkling and re-linking the Bond account will not remove them.
- Google - Un-link and re-link the Bond account.
- Smartthings - Un-link and re-link the Bond account.
- Make sure the Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro are on the same network as the device running the Bond Home application.
- Select the Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro in the Bond Home application.
- Choose advanced settings.
- Select Backup and Restore.
- Select Restore from an existing backup.
- If you have never created a backup, Restore from an existing backup will not be displayed.
- Select a backup to restore. The newest backup is at the top of the list
- Select Restore.
- The restore is complete when Restore Done is displayed.
