(App) Using Scenes

Want an easy way to control multiple devices and also have the ability for these devices to be controlled through integrations like Amazon and Google, using Bond Home scenes is your answer.

Creating a new Scene

1. In the Bond Home application, select Scenes which is located at the bottom of the Dashboard.
2. Select + located at upper right for iOS
3. Tap on Scene name and enter the name for the scene.
4. Under Groups and devices, tap on + Add device or group.
5. Select the devices displayed in either a group or a location.
   1. Note - you only select a single device at a time (no multiple sections).
6. Define the actions.
   1. If you choose an action that would impact a level like speed for a fan or a position for a shade, you will be able to choose that from a list.
7. Tap on Save
8. Continue adding devices until all of the items you want to control with the scene are added.
9. Tap on Done.
10. Tap on the back arrow at the top left.
11. Select CREATE SCENE.
12. Tap on Done.

Adding a schedule to a Scene

Schedules can be added to a scene directly through the Scene or through Schedules located in the settings menu.  The process is the same for both methods.

Through The Scene

1. From the Bond Home Dashboard, select Scenes.
2. Select a scene to add or modify an existing schedule.
3. Select + Add a schedule.
4. Tap on When.
5. Choose when you want the action to happen.
   1. If using at a specific time, enter the time making sure to select Am or PM.
6. Tap on the back arrow at the top left.
7. Tap on Repeat and choose how often you want it to repeat.
8. Tap on the back arrow at the top left.
9. If you have not already set the the timezone, tap on timezone to set it.
10. Tap on Save to complete the schedule

Through Schedules

1. Select Schedules in the Bond Home application.
   1. Your current schedules including those from Groups and scenes will be displayed.
2. Tap on + located at the top right.
3. Under Scenes, select the Scene you would like to add a schedule for.
   1. If a Scene already has a schedule you can modify it.
4. Tap on When.
5. Choose when you want the action to happen.
   1. If using at a specific time, enter the time making sure to select Am or PM.
6. Tap on the back arrow at the top left.
7. Tap on Repeat and choose how often you want it to repeat.
8. Tap on the back arrow at the top left.
9. If you have not already set the the timezone, tap on Timezone to set it.
10. Tap on Save to complete the schedule
