Mate Pro can control Firefly lights when the Mate Pro channel is set to Bond Connect. Bond Connect allows Mate Pro channels to control non-shade devices, including dimmable lights, through a Bond Connect-capable receiver such as Firefly.
Requirements
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Mate Pro remote with Bond Connect-compatible firmware
- A Firefly added to the Bond Home app
- The Bond Home app
- A Mate Pro channel configured for Bond Connect
Note: Bond Connect requires firmware version 4.29 or later.
Step 1: Configure a Mate Pro Channel for Bond Connect
- Open the Bond Home app.
- Select your Mate Pro.
- Choose the channel you want to use for the Firefly light.

Set the channel technology to Bond Connect.
Step 2: Add Firefly to the Bond Home App
- Open the Bond Home app.
- Add your Firefly device.
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.
Step 3: Link the Mate Pro Channel to Firefly
- In the Bond Home app, select the Mate Pro channel you configured for Bond Connect.
- Link that channel to the Firefly light.
- Once linked, Mate Pro will send button commands to Firefly.
Step 4: Control the Light from Mate Pro
Use the Mate Pro buttons to control the Firefly light:

Notes
Bond Connect is one-way communication from Mate Pro to Firefly. Mate Pro will show that it transmitted a command when a button is pressed, but it will not show whether Firefly received the command or whether Firefly is offline or out of range.
