Troubleshooting Mate Pro “All Channel” Issues

Purpose / Overview

This guide helps troubleshoot scenarios where some motors do not respond when using the “All Channel” function on the Mate Pro. It ensures proper motor pairing, channel setup, and mixed-technology management.

Steps

  1. Identify Motor Technology

    • Check each motor’s technology (e.g., GAPOSA, Dooya, Somfy RTS).

    • Note that “All Channel” works automatically only for certain tech types (e.g., GAPOSA, Dooya). Somfy RTS requires individual pairing.

  2. Check Existing Pairing

    • Verify that each motor is paired to the correct channel on Mate Pro.

    • For unsupported tech or mixed setups, motors may need to be paired manually.

  3. Manual Pairing (if needed)

    • Navigate to the channel controlling the motor.

    • Press and hold the two side buttons to enter motor technology selection mode.

    • Select the correct motor technology and pair the motor according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

    • Confirm pairing via the stop button or app.

  4. Test “All Channel” Function

    • Activate the channel controlling the motors.

    • Observe which motors respond.

    • For mixed-technology setups, remember that only motors of supported tech will respond automatically.

  5. Repeat as Needed

    • For multiple channels or mixed setups, repeat the steps above for each group of motors.

Notes / Tips

  • Keep a channel-to-motor map to simplify troubleshooting and future maintenance.

  • Document motor technology and pairing status for each channel.

  • If a motor still does not respond:

    • Check batteries and RF signal range.

    • Confirm motor firmware is compatible with Mate Pro.

    • Test using the app or Bond Bridge Pro if available.

  • For complex setups with multiple technologies, consider labeling channels and motors clearly in the app to avoid confusion.
