Overview
Bond products have Local HTTP API documentation for Bond products using v2 firmware. Home Assistant’s Bond integration uses a Bond hub host and access token, and Home Assistant points users to Bond Local API documentation for obtaining the IP address and access token.
Basic checks
- Confirm the Bond device is online in the Bond Home app.
- Confirm the phone or computer running Home Assistant is on the same local network as the Bond device.
- Confirm the Bond hub IP address.
- Confirm the access token.
- Confirm the Bond device is reachable on the local network.
- Restart the integration or reload the Home Assistant integration if needed.
- If using Bond Bridge Pro, confirm whether it is connected by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Common symptoms
- Home Assistant cannot discover the Bond hub.
- Access token does not work.
- API requests time out.
- Devices appear unavailable.
- Device state appears out of sync.
- Commands work in the Bond Home app but not in Home Assistant.
