Bridge Pro integration limits

Overview

Bond Bridge Pro is a professional-grade smart home bridge for controlling compatible remote-controlled devices from the Bond Home app and supported smart home platforms. It is designed especially for motorized shades/screens, ceiling fans, fireplaces, and other supported RF-controlled devices.

Supported integration paths

Bond documentation lists integrations for Bond Bridge and Bond Bridge Pro such as Alexa, Google, SmartThings, Control4, Elan, RTI, URC, Crestron, and Homebridge. Some integrations may require a driver or license.

Important limitations

Integration behavior depends on:

  • Device type.
  • Motor or remote technology.
  • Whether Bond can control the device reliably in the Bond Home app.
  • Whether the third-party integration supports the required commands.
  • Network connection and bridge status.
  • Driver availability and licensing requirements.

Before troubleshooting an integration

Confirm:

  1. The device works in the Bond Home app.
  2. The Bond Bridge or Bond Bridge Pro is online.
  3. The third-party integration is linked or configured.
  4. The customer knows which integration they are using.
  5. The issue affects one device or all devices.

When to contact Support

Contact Support if:

  • The device works in the Bond app but not in the integration.
  • Only some commands appear in the integration.
  • The customer asks about a professional integration driver.
  • The customer asks about unsupported or undocumented integration paths.
  • The setup involves local API, Home Assistant, or custom automation behavior.
