Bond bridge Pro activated prior to Aug 31st 2024 and Bond bridge activated prior to September 14, 2024 requires a patch, so as to bring it into U.S compliance with regulations, please make use of this Compliance Patcher tool.

Below are step by step instructions how to use the tool:

1. On a Windows computer, download patcher.exe
2. Connect the computer to the same WiFi access point as your Bond Bridge Pro.
   Or, if you are using the Bond Bridge Pro via Ethernet, connect the computer to the same subnet as the Bridge.
3. Run the patcher program by double-clicking it.
4. A black command prompt window will appear, and ask you for the Serial Number of your Bridge, which you may find in the Bond Home app or printed on the bottom of the unit.
5. Next enter in the 4-digit PIN number, which is only printed on the bottom of the unit.
6. The patching process will now proceed. Please be patient as it may take 10+ minutes.
7. If an error is displayed, kindly repeat the process again. It may succeed after 3--4 attempts.
8. You are done when you receive the message "Patch successfully applied".

There is no need to re-pair your shades or ceiling fans to the Bond Bridge Pro after using the patch tool. Your existing devices and any future devices you will create on this Bridge will operate with the compliance patch installed. 

Note that after applying the patch the range of the bridge control may be noticeably reduced.
