Does the Sidekick require a Bond Bridge Pro?
No, but it is recommended. The Sidekick can pair directly with Somfy RTS motors (common in StruXure systems) as a standalone remote.
However, using a Bond Bridge Pro allows for "State Feedback," ensuring your Bond Home app stays in sync with the physical wall switch actions.
How do I pair the Sidekick with my StruXure louvers?
- Set the pergola motor into Programming Mode using your original remote (usually by holding the 'Prog' button until the louvers "jog").
- Press the Pair button on the back of the Sidekick.
- The louvers will jog again to confirm the pairing is successful.
What battery does the Sidekick use?
Battery requirements depend on your device generation. Check the label on the back of the device:
- Gen 1 & Gen 2: Uses CR2032R (Murata).
