(Outdoor Lighting) Dimmer set up

Setting up Smart By Bond Outdoor lighting 

1. Connect the Hardware
   1. Follow the manufacturer manual for installing the hardware.
2. Open the Bond Home Application. If you do not have the application yet, download the Bond Home Application ​ from your device's App Store/Play Store.
3. If you already have a Bond account, simply log in and continue to the next step. If you do not have a Bond account press “Create account” and enter your name, email, and password.
4. Select + to add a device
5. Select Light
6. Select Yes, my device is Smart by Bond
   1. In Android the Bond config that starts with T will be displayed.
      1. Go to step 7.
   2. In iOS, go to settings and select Bond config Wifi that starts with T.
   3. Go back to the Bond Home application.
7. Connect to your Bond Config Wifi that starts with "T".
   
   
   
   
8. Once the Bond Application connects to your light, select CONTINUE.
9. Test your device by tapping on the light bulb icon.
      - If your light responds, select YES, IT WORKS!
   
   
   
   
10. Input Information about your Outdoor Lights.
    1. Select Location and choose from one of the predefined entries or add your own by selecting OTHER. When finished select Save.
    2. Select Device Name and enter the name for your device. When finished, select OK to save.
       1. Please note that this name will be used for integrations so a simple easy to remember name is best.
    3. Choose your Region if not already set.
11. Select CONTINUE
    
    
    
    
12. Select the WiFi network you would like to connect with.
13. Enter the WiFi password and select OK.
14. If there is an issue with the connection, wrong password entered. You will receive an error message. Please select OK, I’ve Got it.
    
    1. Start the setup process again by choosing +.
    2. You will start at step 9 to confirm the application controls the light.
15. Once the connection is made, please select DONE.
16. If the device is not displayed in the BOND application, please swipe down to refresh.

Controlling the lights

Dimmer

1. Pressing the light bulb icon will turn the lights on or off.
2. Rotating the brightness control clockwise will increase brightness while rotating counterclockwise will decrease brightness.
   
   
   
   

RGBW dimmer

1. Pressing the light bulb icon will turn the light on or off.
2. Moving the slider right will increase light brightness and moving to the left will decrease.
3. You can chose one of the preprogrammed colors by tapping on it.  You can use the color picker to choose your own color.
   
   
   
   
4. Selecting Settings at the top right will display settings related to the RGBW dimmer.  This includes the color value being used.  You can copy this value and enter it into your other SBB outdoor lighting devices to make all of them consistent.
