(Bond Bridge & Pro) Programming Azenco devices

Do you want to add an Azenco outdoor louver or outdoor light to your Bond Bridge?  Just follow the instructions below and you will be set.  or

Pairing the Louver to Bond

Important

  • Make sure you can control the louver motor with the Azenco remote before proceeding.
  • You will need a Bond bridge product, Azenco remote, Teleco bridge, Teleco EL1 box and an Azenco motor for this setup.
  1. Part 1 pair To Gray Teleco box
    1. In the Bond Home application, select + located at the top right.
    2. Select Covers, Roofs, Screens & Awnings
    3. Choose a Bond Bridge product.
    4. If using a Azenco Bridge, select Azenco Outdoor - Louver.
      1. If using a Bond Bridge or Pro, scroll down the list of supported motor technologies and select Azenco Outdoor - Louver.
    5. Choose a name for the louver.  Please make sure to use a descriptive easy to remember name as this will also be used in integrations like Alexa, Google and Smartthings.
      1. The name needs to be unique.  Even if the louver is in a different location, the name still needs to be unique.  If the name has already been used, you will not be able to continue the setup flow.
    6. Set the location.  You can use one of the existing locations or scroll to the bottom and use other to create your own.
    7. Set the shade sub type if the displayed one is not correct.
    8. Select Continue once all of the device related information has been entered.
    9. On the Teleco bridge box (gray) with the cover removed, select the appropriate channel using the P2 button.


    10. Press and hold the P3 button.  The Azenco device will emit a continuous tone.
    11. While holding the P3 button on the Teleco bridge, tap Pair in the Bond home application.
      1. The Azenco device will beep several times.
    12. Release P3 button.
      1. You can confirm pairing by pressing the pair button again in the Bond Home application, the Telco bridge Led blinks.
  2. Part 2 pair to Teleco EL1 (black) box
    1. Tap P1 button two times and on the third tap hold the P1 button.
    2. Teleco EL1 will emit a continuous tone.
    3. While holding the P1 button, Press the Pair button in the Bond Home application.
      1. Teleco EL1 will beep several times.
    4. Release the P1 button.
    5. Pairing to the Azenco gray and black boxes is complete.
  3. Select Yes in the Bond home application.
  4. Test the commands.
  5. Select Done in the Bond Home application.

Calibrating for the slider

  1. Select Close to make sure the louver is fully closed for calibration.
  2. Select Continue.
  3. Select OPEN.
  4. Select stop timer when the shades stop at the Upper  / top position
  5. Select DONE.

 

Pairing the Light strip to Bond

Important

  • Make sure you can control the light strip with the Azenco remote before proceeding.
  • You will need a Bond bridge product, Azenco remote, Teleco bridge, Teleco EL17 box and an Azenco light strip for this setup.
  1. Part 1 pair To Gray Teleco box
    1. In the Bond Home application, select + located at the top right.
    2. Select Light.
    3. Select Not Smart Device.
    4. Choose a Bond Bridge product.
    5. Select Azenco Outdoor - Light Strip.
    6. Choose a name for the light.  Please make sure to use a descriptive easy to remember name as this will also be used in integrations like Alexa, Google and Smartthings.
      1. The name needs to be unique.  Even if the louver is in a different location, the name still needs to be unique.  If the name has already been used, you will not be able to continue the setup flow.
    7. Set the location.  You can use one of the existing locations or scroll to the bottom and use other to create your own.
    8. Select Continue once all of the device related information has been entered.
    9. On the Teleco bridge box (gray) with the cover removed, select the appropriate channel using the P2 button.


    10. Press and hold the P1 button.  The Azenco device will emit a continuous tone.
    11. While holding the P1 button on the Teleco bridge, tap Pair in the Bond home application.
      1. The Azenco device will beep several times.
    12. Release P1 button.
      1. You can confirm pairing by pressing the pair button again in the Bond Home application, the Telco bridge Led blinks.
  2. Part 2 pair to Teleco EL17 (dark gray) box
    1. Press P1 button two times.
    2. Press and hold the P1 button.
    3. Teleco EL17 LED will be on. 
    4. While holding the P1 button, Press the Pair button in the Bond Home application.
      1. Teleco EL17 LED will blink.
    5. Release the P1 button.
    6. Pairing to the Azenco light gray and dark gray boxes is complete.
  3. Select Yes in the Bond home application.
  4. Test the commands.
  5. Select Done in the Bond Home application.

 

Pairing the Light  bar to Bond

Important

  • Make sure you can control the light with the Azenco remote before proceeding.
  • You will need a Bond bridge product, Azenco remote, Teleco bridge, Teleco EL1 box and an Azenco light bar for this setup.

Pairing Process

  1. Part 1 pair To Gray Teleco box
    1. Confirm access to both the Teleco bridge and Teleco EL1 unit control boards.
    2. In the Bond Home application, select + located at the top right.
    3. Select Light.
    4. Select "No, my device is not smart, I need a Bridge."
    5. Choose a Bond Bridge product.
    6. If using a Azenco Bridge, select Azenco Outdoor - Light.
      1. If using a Bond Bridge or Pro, scroll down the list of supported light technologies and select Azenco Outdoor - Light.
    7. Choose a name for the light.  Please make sure to use a descriptive easy to remember name as this will also be used in integrations like Alexa, Google and Smartthings.
      1. The name needs to be unique.  Even if the light is in a different location, the name still needs to be unique.  If the name has already been used, you will not be able to continue the setup flow.
    8. Set the location.  You can use one of the existing locations or scroll to the bottom and use other to create your own.
    9. Select Continue once all of the device related information has been entered.
    10. Select Yes to confirm access to the device and switches.
    11. On the Teleco automation control box (gray) with the cover removed, select the appropriate channel using the P2 button.



    12. Press and hold the P1 button.  The Azenco device will emit a continuous tone.
    13. While holding the P1 button, tap Pair in the Bond home application.
      1. The Azenco device will beep several times.
    14. Release P1 button.
      1. You can confirm pairing by pressing the pair button again in the Bond Home application, the Telco bridge Led blinks.
  2. Part 2 pair to Teleco EL1 (black) box
    1. Press and hold the orange button.
    2. The Teleco EL1 box will emit a continuous tone.
    3. While holding the orange button, press the pair button on the Bond Home application.
    4. Teleco EL1 box will beep several times.
    5. Release the orange button on the Teleco EL1 box.
  3. Select Yes in the Bond Home application.
  4. Test the commands.
  5. Select Done in the Bond home application.

Note - the light only turns on/off and dims to 50 percent in the Bond Home application. This is based on the Azenco hardware.
